Jimi Stonefree (ジミ・ストーンフリー, Jimi Sutōnfurī) is a Player who was instrumental to the Project Freedom Festival event 10 years ago.
Appearance[]
Jimi is somewhat similar to Mu in terms of facial features. His age is unknown but he is young with a tall and slim build. Stonefree has flowing long wavy white hair that reaches his lower back and blue eyes. His current getup consists of a red cropped jacket with fringe on the sleeves. A cropped white shirt underneath along with blue pants with a yellow sash and black and white boots. Like Mu he has a guitar amp tube pendant around his neck. He also has an input jack on his lower back. The same place Mu has hers. Before Jimi set off on his journey he was wearing a white dress shirt tucked in with flared blue jeans and black shoes. Jimi’s hair was also tied up before he left his home town Clarksdale.
History[]
A legendary Player that is all enigmatic. Jimi witnessed what the “Earless” can do. He set out on a journey to search for answers on why things were the way they are. Stonefree ultimately arrived at the goal of wanting to bring humanity and the earless together as one. He was introduced as a trump card of the Project Freedom Festival 10 years ago, disappeared along with the huge explosion that occurred during the operation, so both the hero who saved humanity. And, A person longed for by Echo Rec.

(Friend) it is implied that Denka developed feelings for Stonefree during their short time together leading up to Project Freedom. Denka has a mural of Jimi above his bath. There is a picture of the two together that Echo Rec holds onto. Jimi was the one who taught Denka that “Love is all you need”.
Roz[]
(friend) a close friend of Jimi. When Roz was little Jimi stumbled upon the people of gnome at “The Wall”. Fascinated by their goal to coexist with the “Earless” Stonefree stayed with them also wanting to coexist with the earless.
Bilin and Kevin Valentine[]
Bilin and Kevin (comrades) they fought along side Jimi at “Project Freedom” witnessing the explosion caused by him.
Echo Rec[]
(fan) Echo’s and Jimi’s eyes met at project freedom right before the explosion. That faithful day entrances him. Echo alongside Mu embark on a journey to find out more about Jimi while also wanting to know more about Mu. Echo and the players they meet along the way think Jimi and Mu could be siblings.
Mu[]
Mu learns that her Core part matches the one held by Jimi Stronefree. Her appearance is also very similar to Jimi's.

- The mentions of “purple haze” was a song by Jimi Hendrix
- His equipment was called the “Dual Showman” . An amp setup used by Jimi Hendrix.
- He does not appear in the “Player’s almanac” that Echo Rec has.
